The PKD Foundation, a research and advocacy group for Polycyctic Kidney Disease, is looking for a new CEO after its president and CEO Dan Larson announced his retirement from that role. Larson has headed the group since 1994. He will serve as senior advisor and CEO-emeritus.

Health software company Interfaceware tapped Schwartz Communications to serve as its PR agency of record. Interfaceware specializes in software allowing companies to manage the exchange of electronic healthcare data.
